Honeyberry Syrup
🍯 Honeyberry Syrup: Tart, Velvety & Drizzle-Worthy
This honeyberry syrup will absolutely wake up your pancakes — and your taste buds. With its bold color, silky texture, and tangy-sweet flavor, it’s like bottled sunshine from the earliest berry of the season. Whether you drizzle it over cheesecake, swirl it into cocktails, or pour it onto waffles, this syrup will make whatever it touches unforgettable.
Fun fact: Honeyberries (Lonicera caerulea) aren’t just early to ripen — they’re incredibly cold-hardy, surviving temps as low as –40°F. Plus, they contain 3–4 times the antioxidants of blueberries, giving this syrup both flavor and function.
At Dee’s Nutz and Berries in Brodhead, WI, we’re growing a diverse collection of honeyberry varieties, and we can’t wait to start sharing value-added products like this when our farm opens to the public in 2028.
